Hi, my name is Dominic Sliva, and I am a Boy Scout at Troop 62. I am 15 years old and go to Hunterdon Central Regional High School. I am currently working on my Eagle Project. For my project, I am making a NEW baseball field at FRB for the youngest of their players. This will be a field that the Bambinos (5-6) will play on, and it will be an extra practice field for the other teams. This field will benefit young baseball players for generations and will help more kids develop a love for the game.
I chose this project because I’ve always loved baseball and have been playing it for about 10 years now ever since I was a little kid so I wanted to give back to the place where it all started and help them out because I would never be the player I am today without them.
For this Eagle project I will be installing fences, digging an infield, moving benches, measuring the base paths, and much more. I’m inviting you to be a part of this project through your donations and volunteerism. I need to raise approximately $10,000 total for supplies, materials, tools, etc. Your contribution will allow me to complete this project and to prove to myself that I can do anything that I put my mind to.
So help me build future ball players and inspire future Scouts. If you’re interested in donating to my project, please send your checks payable to Boy Scout Troop 62 at 10 East Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822, Tax ID: E-221-574-522/000 or by Zelle at [email protected], or Zeffy at the QR code. Tax ID: E-221-574-522/000. All donations will be recognized at the project unveiling, as well as acknowledged on social media. In exchange for your generosity, I would be happy to highlight your business as a token of my appreciation.
Thank you for helping me make a big impact on our community of young players and making my Eagle project vision a reality!!
Sincerely,
Dominic Sliva
