2026 Optional Calendar Raffle Fundraiser

Dear FRB families,

The Board has agreed and decided to start an annual Fundraising Raffle for its participants in Spring 2027 (Raffle Gaming License 147-5-33898, effective 2/03/26). As a result of increasing costs and the need to remediate and enhance our facility for players and families,
we have chosen a $150 per child athlete fundraising fee added to registration costs to commence next Spring, 2027. This will be built into the Spring 2027 Recreational registration fee. Similar to other recreational programs in the area, albeit, at a much lower required cost
(some programs are well over $200/athlete for fundraising), the fee will allow for 15-raffle tickets per child athlete to be sold ($10/ticket) for either personal reimbursement and/or enrollment into a weekly raffle drawing for a monetary reward during the Spring season.

This Spring 2026, since we are already past registration, we will be having an Optional raffle fundraiser. On opening day, we will have a raffle table that we encourage all athletes, families and friends to participate. The funds will benefit our fields, facility and our children.  Some of the monies will go towards a Fence on Field #2 and new Sod for the infield of Field #1 for better irrigation. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $10 a piece or bundles of $50, $100, $150 and $200. Further bundles can be purchased throughout the month of April at the Snack Shack or email our Fundraising chair. Weekly drawings will begin the week of May 3rd for a monetary prize for winners ($400, $200, $100). BIG winnings can only be achieved through BIG participation.

Further prizes will be included. Most raffles sold by a team as a whole will win a pizza party at Chimney Rock and get a shout out on our FRB website. Most raffles sold by an individual athlete per division (Ex: Bambinos, Rookies, Majors) will get a shout out on our FRB website with a picture with their coach and a Gift Card to be determined. Most raffles sold by one individual athlete for the entire FRB Program will get a shout out on our FRB website and free Spring Rec registration in 2027.

We are hopeful and excited for families to participate. FRB has been around since 1953 and we continue to try and keep costs reasonable for the members of our local community. We also continue to greatly appreciate our annual sponsors for their support in our efforts to accomplish this. Thank you for your time, your consideration and your generosity.
